Hey hikers, it has been a while since we shared some news on this game’s progress.

In that time we have worked on many aspects of the game, with a special focus on level design for chapter 2, animation and movement smoothing and UI improvements. We are also finalizing new collectibles in the form of artefacts and planning the introduction of new writings scattered along the path to fill Thyra’s journal.

In our last development update we showed you our progress on chapter 2 of the game, with some sections that were coming along nicely, and now we’re ready to share more. We’re happy to announce that the structure of chapter 2 is finished and has entered the polishing phase.

But that’s not all: after careful consideration we have decided to go ahead with designing the third chapter too, in preparation of a possible full game release instead of chopping it up into chapters. This would mean a single price increase, as discussed in our previous release plan.

We are still focused on creating something unique and high quality, and this has and will keep us busy in these last few months, as we stop for a brief vacation 🏝️

We’ll let you know our final decisions when they’re fully made, keeping in our sights an end-of-year release.
